How the numbers work
Where every figure comes from
Provenance, the audit trail, and the conditions under which Morevy declines to render.
Morevy does not display a figure it cannot trace to source data.
The principle
Every figure is computed from the rows you supplied.
The assistant determines what to present and how to explain it. It does not produce the figures. Computed values are supplied by the calculation engine and verified before display; where no verified result exists, nothing is rendered in its place.
This verification is enforced in code rather than by convention. It is the mechanism that allows a figure on screen to be acted upon.
What the assistant can and cannot do
The assistant works through a fixed set of capabilities, and the boundary is enforced in code rather than by instruction.
Read computed results
It requests the movement, the metrics, or the customers behind a leg from the engine. It cannot alter what comes back.
Display them unchanged
Anything it shows in the computed voice is overwritten with the engine's values before it renders. A display with no computation behind it is refused.
Follow procedure
It loads internal procedure notes for the task at hand: how a close runs, how each metric is defined. Guidance only; nothing it loads can become a figure.
Record what you say
Notes, reminders and follow-ups are saved on your say-so. Nothing is sent anywhere on your behalf.
There is no public API and no query syntax. You reach all of it in plain language, or through the on-screen controls: the drill under a leg, the lens picker, the recompute button. Both routes run the same engine.
What is recorded
Beneath every table, the source and its currency:
Reconciled to 9,036 source rows · payments_export.csv · covers through Jul 2026 · uploaded Jul 25, 2026
And behind a disclosure, the calculation steps and the configuration in force when they ran. Every export ends with The record, which restates the source, the basis, the checks, what was withheld, the rulings applied and the calculation version in one paragraph.
When inputs change
Changing a filter or a column mapping marks affected figures as computed under superseded settings, with the option to recompute. Displayed figures are never silently revised.
Re-running a close produces a comparison against the previous run: which components changed, by how much, and which input differed. Where figures change and no recorded input differs, Morevy reports that explicitly.
Conditions under which Morevy declines
Unconfirmed column mapping
The close still runs, on cash collected, with the retention ratios withheld and named. Only an explicit rejection of the read stops it.
Unclassified revenue
The close does not run until you have said which rows count as recurring revenue.
Unestablished plan terms
A recurring revenue close is declined where terms cannot be established for a material share of revenue; the close reports cash collected instead and says why.
No verified result
Nothing is rendered.
Each is a case where proceeding would produce a plausible figure that could not be substantiated.
