What Morevy covers, and what falls outside it.
Morevy analyzes recurring revenue from payment history. This page lists what falls outside its scope.
Data sources
Stripe connects directly, with read-only access. Every other system comes in as an exported file, and its figures reflect the file as of its upload; refreshing means exporting again. A month can combine several sources: more than one Stripe account, a Stripe connection and files, or exports from more than one processor.
Files can be .csv or .xlsx, up to 25MB and 60,000 rows each.
Financial scope
Morevy reports operational recurring revenue. It is not an accounting system. It does not produce statutory accounts, lender packs or tax filings, and it does not cover costs, payroll or anything below revenue. Use your accounting system for accounts.
Retention ratios
Gross and net revenue retention are shown on normalized recurring revenue and on files that state recurring revenue directly. On cash collected they are withheld with the reason. Any ratio is withheld when fewer than 10 customers are involved.
Currencies
Morevy does not add amounts in different currencies together. A file that mixes currencies is refused until it is converted or split by currency. Morevy can only detect mixed currencies when the file has a currency column; without one, every amount is treated as the same currency.
Revenue structures not yet modeled
Consumption-based bundles | Prepaid credits or packs are not recognized in proportion to use. |
Usage-based charges | Variable charges count where they cleared. They are not modeled as a rate. |
Marketplace revenue | Revenue collected by a marketplace or aggregator will not appear unless you add that system's export as a source. |
Customers and commentary
Morevy names the customers behind each movement and drafts commentary for your review. It does not contact customers, rank them by risk, or predict who will leave. It can draft an email for you to send yourself.
