Data handling and privacy
What Morevy does with your data, in plain terms.
Your data belongs to you. This page explains what Morevy does with it, in plain terms.
What we collect
The billing and payment exports you upload, or the payment records Morevy syncs when you connect Stripe, and the account information you give us when you sign up. If you connect Stripe, we also hold the restricted, read-only key you created; it is stored encrypted, and revoking it in your Stripe dashboard cuts the connection at any time. That is what a close is computed from, and it is the only reason we have it.
What we use it for
Computing your analysis and answering your questions. Your data is used to produce results for you. It is not used to train models, it is not shared across accounts, and it is not sold. Each account's data is isolated: one business's records are never visible to another.
Who processes it
Your data is stored on Google Cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest. When you ask Morevy a question, the relevant figures are processed by Anthropic, the AI provider behind the analyst. Anthropic does not train on this data.
What the model sees
Before anything is sent to the AI model, customer names and other labels from your data are replaced with opaque tokens. The model reasons over figures and tokens; the real names are restored only when the answer reaches your screen.
This substitution runs before every model call. If it cannot be applied, the request fails rather than proceed without it.
How long we keep it
Uploaded files are retained while your account is active so that past closes can be re-opened and re-checked. If you close your account, you can ask us to delete your data and we will.
